• The Final Rules improve transparency and consistency between corporate climate commitments and financial statements, enabling investors to assess whether companies’ reported financial positions reflect their stated transition strategies.
• The Final Rules support efficient capital allocation and market integrity by requiring disclosures that help investors accurately price climate-related financial risks and compare companies on a like-for-like basis.
