30 June – 2 July | London

Has the world kept its climate promises since COP26?

Join the New York Times Climate Hub for three days of science, culture, policy, storytelling and debate, as we put critical questions to climate leaders, take a progress health check, hear from different sectors and industries and delve deep into the facts informing decision-makers.

On Friday 1 July our Founder and Executive Chair, Mark Campanale will be participating in the session Greenbacking the Future: Private-Sector Finance and Climate discussing developing countries’ need for trillions of dollars in green finance to mitigate and adapt to climate change. But rich nations’ pledges have fallen far short of what’s required. Private-sector finance is stepping up with initiatives like the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero. But will it be enough? Is true transformation possible — and can it happen rapidly?

Mark will also be moderating the workshop session: Your money is power: Investing in climate action on Thursday 30 June.
