Laurence Watson, Carbon Tracker Data Scientist, is giving the opening presentation at the Decommissioning and Demolition of Conventional Power Plants Forum.

The conference brings together the best minds from the top power generation companies along with the Engineering Consultancy and top contractors to discuss what is needed to plan the phase out of fossil fuel generation assets and further the demolition process.

Laurence will be speaking at 9am on the first day of the conference on the implications of climate and air policy for EU coal plant owners. Laurence will present the findings of our recent coal research on how the Paris Agreement, EU ETS reforms and Industrial Emissions Directive will impact coal power generation.
