Climate-Related Financial and Business Risks Virtual Conference, presented in a series of webinars and co-hosted by the University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Institute, the Oxford Martin School, and Nochua International in South Africa.

Carbon Tracker will be participating in two discussions on June 5:

Energy Transition in Africa: Matt Gray, Co-Head of Power & Utilities

Future of Oil & Gas: Andrew Grant, Head of Oil & Gas

Why participate?  The webinars will be a mix of investor, policy and business-level discussions.

Some of the topics to be discussed are net-zero, climate change and capital markets, energy transition, oil & gas, carbon pricing, role of development finance, and multilateral development organizations amongst others.

Structure of the Conference:

  • The Conference will be presented in a series of live/semi-live webinars from 2 June to 19 June 2020
  • The webinars will be streamed live/semi-live on YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Each webinar will be recorded and later made available on-demand on the event website for 6 months after the event
  • The Q&A will also be published online after the conference

Duration of sessions: each session will be at most 2 hours long. Sessions will start at either 12:00 or 16:00 SAST (10:00 GMT or 14:00 GMT)
